1. Personal Information
“Personal Information” means any singular information on personal or factual affairs of an identified or identifiable person (section 3 (1) BDSG). In particular, Personal Information is information about you which is personally identifiable and which may include for example (but might not be limited to) your name, age, gender, address, telephone number, email address, financial details and any other information from which you can be identified and which you may disclose via DSTM at any time.
2. When does DSTM collect your Personal Information?
2.1 DSTM may collect and process Personal Information when:

4. How long does DSTM Keep Personal Information?
We only hold Personal Information for as long as is necessary for the purposes described above in section 3. When you withdraw your consent according to section 3.2., we will delete your personal data. This does not apply to data which is necessary to fulfil open tasks, to enforce our rights or which we have to keep due to legal requirements. Such data will be blocked.
5. Sharing of Personal Information with third parties
DSTM does not sell the Personal Information to other parties or share Personal Information with other parties. There are only two exceptions:

6. Protection of Personal Information
6.1. DSTM employs all industry standard practices and has strict security procedures covering the collection, storage and disclosure of Personal Information in order to prevent unauthorised access and to comply with relevant German and European data protection laws.
6.2. All Personal Information you provide to DSTM is stored on secure servers within the European Union.
7. Log Files
When using our site, our webservers will safe certain information in so called log files. A log file includes information about the browser product you deploy, as well as your operation system, the IP-address used when visiting our Site, the domain name by which you came to our Site, the beginning and the end of your visit, the data volume transmitted and subpages you visit from our Site. The IP-address will be shortened by the last octet the latest after seven days. From then, it will be impossible for anybody to make the connection to you and your internet account.
8. Google Analytics
8.2. By using this website you agree to the processing of your collected data by Google in the way and to the purpose mentioned above. Otherwise, you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.
9. MailChimp and Newsletters
9.1 For our newsletter, we use MailChimp, a service provided by The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 512 Means Street, Ste 404 Atlanta, GA 3018.
9.2 If you register for our newsletter, any data you provide in connection with your registration (such as your name and your email-address) will be transferred to MailChimp and saved there. Upon registration, you will receive an email which allows you to confirm your registration (“double opt-in”). MailChimp offers various analytic tools to analyse the use of the newsletter-service. All these analytics are group related and we will not use the results to examine your individual behaviour. Further, MailChimp uses Google Analytics as described above and might include it in its newsletters.
